Financial Analyst (Prophix) – $50-80,000 – Massachusetts

Essential Functions
- Assist in monthly financial closing, to include preparation of general ledger account reconciliations and analysis of financial results to identify and explain variances
- Analyze financial results to identify and explain trends in order to provide critical insights to managers, and identify opportunities for improvements and savings
- Act as the owner for financial reporting and analysis systems, including Prophix
- Establish and monitor annual budgets and long-term financial plan
- Partner with managers to establish KPI’s and provide ad-hoc reports and analyses
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Key requirements;
- Analytical focus to be able to identify trends, discover causes of variances, and identify improvement opportunities
- Sophisticated skills with standard office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint); experience with Prophix and Crystal Reports is a plus
- Proactive nature, with a sense of urgency to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships across the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective presentation capabilities
- BS in Accounting or Finance required
- 3-5 years of FP&A experience in a large, multi-divisional organization, is required
