Principal Presales Expert- EMEA (Strategic/Key Accounts) £160k-£180k OTE plus RSU’s

 

Job Description

The Presales Executive is responsible for all technical, solution, and competitive aspects of the sales cycle. PSC’s must be both sales-focused and technically savvy. They must be successful in selling Transformational Enterprise Solutions, and convincing C-level and director-level executives of the technical merits of the software solution.

The PSC will work, in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers, to be the technical bridge between our Strategic Account Executives and their prospects. The PSC will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our prospects to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and via telephone.

What you’ll do

  • Own the technical solution design, validation, and competitive aspects of any account that falls under the new Transformational Team
  • Act as a solution lead on critical accounts/projects and peer mentor for other team members within this group
  • Work cross-functionally with a number of new and current teams focused on further developing the Transformational business such as Product, Sales, Advocacy, etc
  • Drive best practices within the team, and apply global approaches to the SC role
  • Work with 3rd party vendors in solutioning integrations within the enterprise solutions
  • Support other SCs in critical customer meetings and accounts
  • Assist in the development and execution of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives
  • Drive cross-functional teams for strong collaboration

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 8+ years of Enterprise software selling experience.
  • Experience mapping RFI/RFP requirements to software solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation and writing skills.
  • CX, CRM or ITSM Software Selling Skills
  • Experience scoping, managing and executing customer pilots and Proof of Concepts.
  • Knowledge in web / scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SaaS applications.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution.
  • Superior solution scoping abilities, using our existing solution and influencing new product development.
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment with multiple roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree is a plus.
  • Obvious passion and people skills

Desired Skills

  • Previous consulting experience implementing enterprise-class software solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Customer Service Software, ITSM, data warehousing, business intelligence.
